2000
- Alliance Medical manages a total of 33 scanners in the UK and
becomes the dominant provider of out-sourced radiology management
services in the country.
- Alliance Diagnostic Srl., Alliance subsidiary in Italy, operates
a total of 11 mobile units.
1999
- Joint venture with the only supplier of mobile diagnostic services in Italy was formed- Alliance Diagnostic Srl.;
offering Italian healthcare providers a full range of shared and managed diagnostic imaging services.
1998
- First of three mobile scanners sent to Italy.
1996
- Alliance Medical acquires UK assets of EMS Ltd- a UK competitor.
- Alliance Medical receives accreditation from St Martin’s College of Lancaster University for CCASM Course.
1995
- Management buy-out backed by 3i and F&C Ventures who took 75% of the equity.
- Investors in People (IIP) status.
1994
- Initial static contract was taken over for three static units in Nuffield Hospitals.
1990
- First mobile scanner commenced operation
1989
- Alliance Medical Ltd. formed in the UK by current CEO Robert Waley-Cohen.
